Business Development Manager – Laboratory Services (home based)

About this job

We are searching for an exceptional business focussed scientist looking to join a cutting edge analytical research facility.

You will be responsible for delivering end to end sales of our client’s biological analytical services; generating leads, producing targeted proposals and closing sales. You will be expected to meet/exceed annual sales targets by harvesting new markets and exploiting industry trends – as well as nurturing/growing existing accounts. The role also requires client liaison skills and the ability to represent the company at conferences and exhibitions.

You will possess:

  • Several years’ experience selling scientific products/services
  • A strong knowledge of the (bio)pharmaceutical industry
  • A science degree and excellent interpersonal skills
